Whilst all and sundry  slag of Arsene and Arsenal from Evra to the Daily star and i  see the Daily Telegraph is  having potshots now.let me try once again put some perspective on the Arsenal.

4 clubs have won the Premiership since it started in the early 90′s , Man utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Blackburn Rovers. what do 3 of the clubs who won it have in common  ?

Answer untold monies from rich owners or geared up Companies, Arsenal won the league 3 times with the magic of Wenger and George Grahams defence and with the single most expensive player being Wiltord for 13 million pounds.

We should take pride from this, Arsenal havent had and will not have the monies to compete with the Big 3, Gazidis has come out with th is line just 2 days ago, our so called transfer and wages war chest is 30 million pounds and when you think Downing and Henderson for Liverpool cost 38 million pounds , who are we going to find to win the league for 30 million.

Answer Arsene Wenger , no other manager can win this league with the resources he has and if he puts is stubborness to one side and buys cahill and samba we can win the league , even without Nasri and fabregas.

Chelsea and now City have changed the way the premier league operates in , or should i say taken it to higher levels of only with those with huge bankbalances will win trophies.

So whilst the Telegraph ponders will we be the next Aston Villa or Everton and whilst Evra tells nasri to join him at United , i and the likes of Sam and most Gooners know and still believe in ARSENE WE TRUST !

So please Kwab, Dan, Mart , dont tell me sack wenger and get Mourinho or Hiddink etc , do es one seriously think with a transfer budget of 30 million in good years , these guys will get us in the top 4 never mind win trophies, I dont think so………………

So get behind the team and stop moaning like spoilt kids and take up YOGA and relax your Mind !

If the proffessor buys Samba and Cahill ( i was reliably told that deal is nearly done ) not sure if Ary anas friends mum knows but lets hope she does. We get Gervino from Lille and Scott parker , no worries we will be a threat to manutd and Chelsea again.

He’s [Wenger’s] never been the type of man to do that and neither have most foreign coaches that have been here. Rafa Benitez was the same and Carlo Ancelotti never came into my office last year. British coaches see it as an unwritten rule that no matter what they pop in and see the manager after the game. It has never been the case with Arsene.

At that time I just laughed it off with as a sensationalist comment from a man who wanted some airtime. Sadly, but as expected, those words launched a thousand headlines portraying Wenger in a negative light.
Then yesterday I read some quotes by Blackpool manager Holloway. Speaking with The Independent on Sunday, Holloway said:

It was great to sit down with Arsene Wenger and talk football for a few minutes after our game at Arsenal. He had a glass of wine, I had a beer and he was lovely to speak to.
As well as being someone whom I hugely admire, he is simply a very nice man, a total gentleman. He is quietly spoken, very thoughtful and he was very complimentary about us, despite the scoreline.

It’s funny how two ‘British’ managers have had such differing experiences while dealing with Le Boss. But it’s not surprising at all, is it? Clearly, Wenger understands and appreciates what Holloway is trying to do. So when such a man would have popped into his office after the game, it’s natural that Wenger would have shared a drink with him (I really can’t imagine Wenger drinking beer) and with that some thoughts on the game.
In contrast, I’d use the word respects and tolerates with a somehow thrown in when talking about Wenger’s feelings towards Fat Sam. I think most of us can appreciate a manager trying all kinds of tricks when he has limited resources but when such a man gloats in referee gifted wins for anti-football it really becomes intolerable bordering on the repugnant. If fans can get so riled up by a rival manager how can we expect the manager to feel much different?
Even then I think Arsene has been more than respectful about Allardyce and I wonder if Fat Sam ever did what he claims all British managers do i.e. pop into Wenger’s office after a game. After all, it does work both ways, doesn’t it? I tried imagining a conversation between the two over a drink and ended up in splits. One would talk about hoofing the ball and roughing it up while the other would be wondering when his misery will end.
That I think is the key. Holloway is a football manager. It’s possible to have a genuine conversation with him. Fat Sam is a relic. Drinks would not be an issue but talking to a man with such dated thoughts and an obnoxious attitude would be a serious challenge, one I’m sure Wenger can do without.
On a side note, does anyone else wonder why Holloway’s comments didn’t get as much media attention as those of Fat Sam? “Wenger is a total gentleman” doesn’t really cut it as a headline, does it!?

Where is the ITV uproar over Defoe’s handball?
For anyone not watching, and wondering why I’m blogging when I’ve already done my bit for the day, it is because of ITV that I come to you now.

Defoe has just scored against Young Boys and in order to do so he used the most blatant and deliberate handball seen since, well, Henry I guess.

Did he know what he’d done? Of course he did, he didn’t celebrate until he’d checked no-one had spotted it. I don’t care that the Spuds benefited from a handball, I don’t care who it was. What I care about is that it was the exact same idiots who were commentating when Eduardo ‘dived.’

It was Beglin and that other muppet who started the crusade against Eduardo which eventually drove him from our club. And how do they deal with Defoe’s handball? Do they ask why he didn’t own up to it like a good little professional? Did they call for cheating to be eliminated from the game, citing the destruction of our youth from idolising a bunch of over-paid idiots who think it’s ok to win at any cost? Did they empathise with Young Boys?

Did they hell. ‘He got away with it’ said Beglin, sounding as if he was trying to suppress a little chuckle.

It’s an absolute disgrace. This is beyond hypocrisy. When you think of how Eduardo is now thought of across England and Scotland (and further afield). Henry is in the US and he is still being roundly booed for a similar act when even more was at stake. It makes me sick.

What did Adrian ‘what the hell am I doing presenting a football programme anyway’ Chiles say about the handball? “more than a little hint of handball in that second but there’s no denying it’s men against boys.” I kid you not. Then the pundits spent half-time laughing about it.

Livid.

Can we expect UEFA to hand him a two-game ban for what was a yellow-card offence? Will he generate the same number of column inches and TV minutes? Will his name forever be synonymous with cheating regardless of past and future achievements? Will it hell.

Is it simply because he’s English and Henry and Eduardo aren’t? Can it really be that simple? And that blatant?

Theo looks good in his new direct role, all in all a good battling performce from the boys, even without our 2 best players in any game, fabregas and Van persie, we still look dangerous going forward, we have an abundance of skill, Wenger never compromises the style and as Pompey Pat said, would you rather play like Blackburn or play the wenger way and finish in the top 4…

So whilst hand few of my backbenchers who have forgotten where they came from and snipe behind my back, remember one day when your the Boss and Totally accountable get ready for backbiting but more importatntly still have the mental strength and principles to deliver the Companys goals and objectives.

Wenger i believe is in the same situation as most, i dont think hes got the money to spend and or the ability to pay the high weekly salaries, he may be stubborn but the mans a genius and do you seriously think he wouldnt want a Drogba or a Essien in our team. We are Arsenal we dont pay 100 million pounds on a team , Chelseas current team and Manchester uniteds cost that, yes.

Each year the same matchday live comments suffice for games away to Thuggish teams like Blackburn , its a case of cut and paste, we need to wear our helmets and shields, a physical battering awaits our boys, they dont like it up em, no their softies. Funny that when Spain get hard done by the Dutch, mass media outrage, their stifling football, its dirty cynical and calculated…..Oh but noooo no sympathy for us, we are Arsenal they all hate us ! Especially Sky Sports and BBC , bias beyond belief………………………….

Not getting carried away with this win as the brutality of the Blackburns, Stokes, Boltons etc are just around the corner, anyway one things for sure, the venue may have changed for me watching the first home game at the Emirates, olive tree it was not, Dixies it was, i was with friends, the ones that my boyhood hero would refer to as the salt of the earth or the real people that time has forget….. Arsenal weekends of the winning kind are always enjoyable, birds singing, sun shining and more importantly a Smile on my face.

So as i woke up this morning on this special day for me, i called Khun Lissa ( shes the Nasri of the Spa) stylish , cute and intelligent , asking for directions to a flower shop , needed to buy cocunuts and flowers for the visit to the little old hindu temple in Phuket town. Im sure she thought hes only been around these parts for 13 years, doesnt he know where the shops are, answer No , i only know where my office is, the tennis court and Dixies !

So temple and all, done and dusted , its nice to get a little bit of tranquility and perspective on life, even if its only for a few minutes, earning money is something we all have to do, survival for most and the future of our children are the main reasons we have to day in day out ply our respective trades, However like my dad once told me, this is not at any cost, there is that little old thing called DIGNITY that comes in to play………..Never lose that.

So we head into 1st home game of the season with no nasri bendtner song denilson or djourou or ramsey cesc and RVp need fitness tests (should be ok but not 100%) – koscelny suspended – leaving 1 fit centre back at the club .. And the 2 clowns prancing around in goal he has had a whole summer to sort this out .. Does arsene really know anymore?? Starting to wonder what the great man is up to !!!

I agree with the above sentiments, what is Arsene up to , hes driving us all mad, luckily i have been busy with champions league football of the work kind all week and into saturday, just ensuring the monthly pay cheque keeps coming in , never mind worrying about Nasri out, frompong out for a season and were haggling over 4 million to pay for a goalie!

Blackpool tommorow at home, please dont tell me oh please dont tell me we are going to…… no i dont want to hear …………………………………………………
